Papa Charlie’s Rolls Out Party Pack

Frozen Italian beef maker Papa Charlie’s, Chicago, has introduced a new 7 lb. party pack to be offered during peak “party” periods of the year such as holidays, Super Bowl and graduation season.

Papa Charlie’s is available at retailers in the Midwest, in addition to being the exclusive frozen Italian beef brand sold at Sam’s Club, Costco, Wal-Mart Supercenters and Super Targets throughout the country.

Papa Charlie’s has also partnered with Wendy’s to offer Papa Charlie’s Italian Beef sandwiches as a menu item in 164 Wendy’s restaurants in Illinois. Papa Charlie’s is also the “Official Italian Beef of the Chicago Cubs,” and its sandwiches are sold at the Italian Hot Spot concession stand in the left field concourse. Papa Charlie’s is also served at Chicago Bears games at Soldier Field.

“Tying in with the greatest teams in Chicago sports just made a lot of sense for the Papa Charlie’s brand,” says Joseph Hall, president and CEO. “Here in Chicago we love our Cubs, we love our Bears, and we love our Italian beef.”

Hall says the partnership with Wendy’s “is a great fit because both brands stand for high quality, great value, and delicious taste.”

Suggested retail price for the 7 lb. party pack is $18.99 to $21.99. Papa Charlie’s is also available in supermarkets in a 2 lb. tray for $5.99 to $6.99 SRP and a 5 lb. for $12.99 to $16.99. In club stores, Papa Charlie’s is available in a 4 lb. club pack (two individually-wrapped 2 lb. trays), SRP $11.49 to $12.49, and a 5 lb. tub, SRP $11.99 to $12.99.
